Now in a smaller version, the URSA Mini 4.6K Digital Cinema Camera can record cinematic images with its Super-35mm 4.6K, a sensor with 15 stops of dynamic range. To produce cinematic images, the URSA Mini can record raw sensor data in the CinemaDNG format onto CFast 2.0 memory cards at up to 60 fps. Power for the URSA Mini can be supplied via a 4-pin XLR jack at the rear of the camera. With an optional plate, the URSA will accept professional V-Mount or Gold Mount batteries on the back.
Compact Handheld Design
The body is made from magnesium alloys to keep the URSA Mini lightweight at 5 lb. To make the camera more acceptable for handheld usage, a side handle is included. With the optional shoulder mount, the handle can be extended off the side of the camera to be used in a doc-style configuration.
4.6K Super-35mm Sensor
With an effective resolution of 4608 x 2592, the sensor housed inside the URSA Mini can capture motion pictures that have greater-than 4k resolution with a film-like 15 stops of dynamic range. A wide exposure latitude allows for greater control in post, enabling highlight recovery while keeping the shadows clean from artifacting.
Built-in ND Filters
URSA Mini Pro G2 features high-quality neutral density (ND) filters that let you quickly reduce the amount of light entering the camera. The 2, 4 and 6 stop filters have been specifically designed to match the colourimetry and colour science of the camera.
URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 features independent controls for direct access to the most important camera settings. Buttons, switches, and dials are logically displayed in order and they are easy to find by feel.
Whether you’re shooting a Hollywood blockbuster, an indie film, high-end commercial, or a broadcast television show, URSA Mini Pro’s combination of resolution, dynamic range and color gamut delivers amazingly rich and lifelike images.
URSA Mini Pro models feature both dual CFast 2.0 recorders and dual UHS‑II SD card recorders so you can choose the media that works best for you.
It features an innovative high-speed USB‑C Expansion Port. USB‑C is quickly becoming standard on all modern computers and devices.
