Tag on-the-fly while recording for direct-to-edit look up in:

  • Final Cut Pro X
  • Adobe Premiere*
  • Avid Media Composer*

Both video and gaming workflows are supported so you get the quickest path to your audience.

* Adobe Premiere and Avid Media Composer necessitate a third party plug-in such as XtoCC to allow .fcpxml compatibility.

Small Drives, Backwards Compatible

Atomos has worked closely with their drive partners at Angelbird and Sony to offer you the AtomX SSDmini.  These small drives are only 7mm high and 80mm long. They hold the same SATA III connector as traditional SSDs and they are backward compatible with their range of Ninja, Shogun and Sumo devices.

Available now are;

  • AtomX SSDmini by Angelbird.
  • AtomX SSDmini by Sony.

Adjust & Link

AtomX was created by Atomos to ensure users can adjust and link to any legacy or upcoming wireless or wired video standard. The expansion system offers limitless scalability which was shown by the first of many modules – the AtomX Ethernet/NDI® and the AtomX Sync announced at IBC 2018. These berth into the AtomX port and instantaneously add significant features like NDI® over ethernet, Wireless Sync and Bluetooth control to the Ninja V.

Audio Input Straight From Your Camera

Like all Atomos Monitor/Recorders, the Ninja V allows audio input straight from your camera.

Choose from digital sources via HDMI or analogue input or Stereo 3.5mm line/mic socket depending on your rig.

Comprehensive Control Of Image

Colours can be effortlessly coordinated and the additional data means that footage can be easily manipulated in post-production, which is particularly valuable for grading and VFX shots. The maximum dynamic range, colour correctness and detail is conserved, while at the same time each characteristic of the video image can be controlled with exactness for maximum ingenuity.

Capturing Apple ProRes RAW video with the Ninja V reveals comprehensive control of the video image, at the maximum excellence conceivable. Photographers have long recognised the benefits of RAW for stills, now Nikon Z series users will be able to get the equivalent power of RAW in video.
